About the Editors
Tracy L.Morris,PhD, isAssociate Professor of Psychology at West Vir-
ginia University (WVU). She received BS and MS degrees in psychology
from Pittsburg State University (Kansas) and a PhD in clinical psychol-
ogy from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Morris completed a clinical
internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical University of
South Carolina specializing in child clinical psychology prior to joining
the faculty at WVU. Currently she serves as Associate Chair of the de-
partment,aswellascoordinatorofthedoctoralprograminchildclinical
psychology.Dr.Morris’sprimaryresearchfocusisonthedevelopmental
psychopathology of anxiety disorders, with a special interest in the
etiology, assessment, and treatment of shyness and social anxiety.
JohnS.March,MD,MPH,isProfessorofPsychiatryandChiefofChild
and Adolescent Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center. He re-
ceivedaBAfromtheUniversityofCaliforniaatRiversideandanMSin
molecular biology from the University of California at Berkeley. He ob-
tainedanMD-MPH(epidemiology)fromtheUCLASchoolofMedicine,
and later completed a residency in family practice at that institution.
Following several years as a family practitioner in rural Montana, Dr.
March trained in general and child and adolescent psychiatry in the
DepartmentofPsychiatry,UniversityofWisconsin–Madison.Hehasex-
tensive experience developing and testing the efficacy and effectiveness
of cognitive-behavioral and pharmacological treatments for pediatric
mental disorders and is widely published in the areas of obsessive–
compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression,
attention-deficit/hyperactivitydisorder,andpediatricpsychopharmacology.
