•Implement the national oil, natural gas and
biofuels policies as part of the national
energy policy, with emphasis on the
consumers' interest regarding to price,
quality and availability of products;
•Specify the quality of petroleum, natural
gas, its derivatives, and biofuels.
•Expand the jurisdiction of the ANP to all
the biofuels industry.
Aviation Fuels– ANP ACTS
Production:
ANP Act 16/2010 – regulates the oil refining activity: construction, modification, capacity expansion
and oil refinery operation;
Quality:
ANP Act 05/2009 – establishes the specification of aviation gasoline - GAV 100LL;
ANP Act 37/2009 – establishes the specification of aviation kerosene - JET FUEL-1;
ABNT NBR 15216 – Controle da qualidade no armazenamento, transporte e abastecimento de
combustíveis de aviação (Aviation fuel quality control)
ANP Act 20/2013 – establishes the specification of aviation kerosene - JET FUEL-1;
Supply:
ANP Act 17/2006 – regulates the wholesale activity of aviation fuel;
ANP Act 18/2006 – regulates the resale activity of aviation fuel;
ANP Act 12/2007 – regulates the operation and disabling of supply point.
Jet Fuel - Brazilian Specification
ANP Act 37/2009
The brazilian specification is aligned with the Aviation Fuel Quality
Requirements for Jointly Operated Systems (AFQRJOS) that incorporates the
requirements of ASTM D1655 and DEF STAN 91-91 and IATA Guidance
Material.

the international marketing of this product.
