To the inhabitants of the Town of Litchfield in the County of Hillsborough in said
state, qualified to vote on Town affairs:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED TO MEET AT THE GRIFFIN MEMORIAL
SCHOOL IN SAID LITCHFIELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 14, 1995 AT 7:00
A.M. TO ACT UPONTHEFOLLOWING:
1. To electby ballot the following Town Officers:
Three Selectmen - two three-year terms and one one-year term; one Moderator -
two-year term; one Road Agent - one-year term; one Fire Chief - one-year term; one
Trustee ofTown Trust Funds - one three-year term; one Library Trustee - three-year
term; four Budget Committee members - two three-year terms; one two-year term
and one one-year term.
2. To vote by ballot on the following amendments to the Town Zoning
Ordinances:
1. Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 1 as proposed by the
Planning Board for the Town ofLitchfield Zoning Ordinance as follows:
amend the Floodplain Conservation District Section 1100.02 Definitions to add
definitions for basement, breakaway wall, functionally dependent use, start of con-
struction and substantial damage; and Section 1107.00 Variances and Appeals to
provide additional criteria for the granting ofa variance.
(These changes are requiredby FEMA and mustbe adopted in order for the Town to
maintain its eligibility for the Federal flood insurance program.)

2. Are you in favor of the adoption of Amendment No. 2 as proposed by the
Planning Board for the Town ofLitchfield Zoning Ordinance as follows:
amend the Floodplain Conservation District Section 1100.02.08 to correct the word-
ing from Flood Insurance Study to FloodElevation Study.

1. "Shall we permit the public library to retain all money it receives from
its income-generating equipment to be used for general repairs and upgrading and
for the purchase of books, supplies and income-generating equipment?" (Vote by
