NOTICE TO PROPOSERS:
A. This Addendum shall be considered part of the contract documents for the above-mentioned project as though it had
been issued at the same time and incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions of the following supplementary
data differ from those of the original contract documents, this Addendum shall govern and take precedence.
B. Proposers are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their estimate on account of this
Addendum. It will be construed that each Proposer’s proposal is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and
supplemental data specified therein. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the proposal form.
Failure to do so may subject Proposer to disqualification.

REFERENCE IS MADE TO THE DRAWINGS AND THE PROJECT MANUAL AS NOTED:

DRAWINGS:
AD No 4, Civil Item 27: To the Drawings, Sheet C3.1, “Overall Utility Layout”
1) On the Sheet C3.1 #59 Calls out a 50’ rolling gate; Please provide detail information regarding this gate?
Please refer to architectural plans for details.

AD No 4, Civil Item 116: To the Drawings, Sheet C13, “Sign Layout”
2) Is the offsite traffic signs (type A, B, C on drawings C13 part of this bid package scope of work?
Yes.

AD No 4, Civil Item 117: To the Drawings, Sheet C2, “General Notes”
3) Sanitary Sewer Pipe – On General Notes pg. C2, Sanitary Sewer Note no. 10 references SDR26 “Heavy Wall” PVC per
ASTM D-2241. However, “Heavy Wall” pipe and pipe conforming to ASTM D-2241 spec are dissimilar materials. They are
both considered to have an SDR of 26, but heavy wall typically references SDR26 conforming to ASTM D-3034 spec.
ASTM D-2241 denotes SDR26 CL160 (PR 160) with an IPS OD for drainage pipe with a gasketed joint or Schedule 40
w/solvent joint.
Revised sanitary sewer pipes to SDR 26 ASTM D-3034.

AD No 4, Civil Item 118: To the Drawings, Sheet C3.1, “Overall Utility Layout”
4) Additionally, the legend on pg. C3.1 references the sanitary sewer pipe as D3034 SDR35. SDR35 does indeed conform to
ASTM D-3034, although it is a lighter and thinner material, virtually opposite of “Heavy Wall”. Please clarify what pipe
class is to be used for construction of the sanitary sewers.
Revised sanitary sewer pipe call outs to SDR 26 ASTM D-3034.

AD No 4, Civil Item 132: To the Drawings, Sheet C10, “Miscellaneous Details 1”
5) The storm sewer bedding detail on C10 is for 24” & > RCP. Stabilized sand makes or breaks jobs. All the storm is HDPE.
Please provide a bedding detail for HDPE 4” thru 36”.
The storm RCP and HDPE bedding details will be the same on both types of storm pipe.

6) The storm sewer bedding detail on C10 is for 24” & > RCP. All the storm is HDPE. Please provide a bedding detail for
HDPE 4” thru 36”.
The storm RCP and HDPE bedding details will be the same on both types of storm pipe.

AD No 4, Civil Item 152: To the Drawings, Sheet C7, “Erosion Control Plan”
8) Sheet C7 indicates that an existing driveway on FM 1462 is to be used for construction access and exit. This presents a
dangerous approach onto FM 1462. This may be used as a secondary access/exit, but we would prefer to install a
construction entrance on CR 185. IS the entrance as shown on the plans mandatory and only entrance/exit to be
utilized?
Revised construction access/exit per comment. Driveway on FM1462 will be used for secondary access and exit. Main
construction access and exit will be on CR 185.

AD No 4, Civil Item 153: To the Drawings, Sheet C4.1, “Paving Grading And Drainage Plan”
9) Please provide detail for articulated blocks at the detention pond. Is any concrete structure required.
Please see sheet C4.1 for details on articulated blocks.

AD No 4, Civil Item 154: To the Drawings, Sheet C4.1, “Paving Grading And Drainage Plan”
10) As far as that alternative #2 is concerned, a better demark as to where it stops and starts would be helpful. We are
assuming at the drive perpendicular to the road itself. We also include a curb closing off the junction of the two roads. If
that assumption is correct you may want to indicate that as well.
Please refer to sheet C4.1. The legend shows the shaded alternative bid item and depicts where it starts. A curb closing
will not be included.

AD No 4, Civil Item 155: To the Drawings, Sheet C4.2, “Paving Grading And Drainage Plan”
11) Referencing Sheet C4.2 utilities, there appears to be a “rouge” call out for a 30” sewer line that either doesn’t exist or
the draftsman forgot to include the lines. Please confirm which.
30” storm callout has been taken out.

AD No 4, Civil Item 188: Pre-bid Clarification
14) PLC seeks clarification on a statement that was made at the pre-bid, At the pre-bid, it was mentioned that the existing
trailer on the site as indicated in the survey is to be removed. It can be used but must be removed or demolished off
site. However, the plans nor do the Addendums indicate an instruction. It is my understanding that unless something is
stipulated in the plans and/or addendums then it is the Owner’s responsibility. Can this be clarified by addendum?
