Preface
The International Conference on Advancements in Interdisciplinary Research (AIR
2022)wasorganizedbytheDepartmentofAppliedMechanics,MotilalNehruNational
InstituteofTechnology (MNNIT)Allahabad,Prayagraj,IndiaandtookplaceonMay
6–7,2022.Theconferencewasproposedaroundthethemeofasmartandsustainable
Society.
Thepurposeoftheconferencewastoraiseparticipantawarenessofthesustainabil-
ity issues presented by technological advancement and how they affect both people’s
individuallivesandsocietyasawhole.Consideredinitsentirety,thisconferenceoffered
preciseandcomprehensiveinsightsintothedevelopmentofsustainabletechnologyina
varietyoffields.
Inaddition,thegoalofAIR2022wastoofferaforumfordebatingtheproblems,
concerns, and scientific discoveries in the multidisciplinary field of engineering. The
maingoalofholdingthisconferencewastogiveresearchersfromvariousfields,includ-
ingbiomedicine,computerscience,mechanicalengineering,electronics,manufacturing,
industry,andmanagement,asingleforumtodiscussobstacles,trends,technologies,and

Sustainable development is needed in the current scenarios and this has a signifi-
