About the Author
Jon Margulies is a New York-based producer, guitarist, composer, and DJ. He has been per-
forming professionally since he was 11 years old, and has worked with some of the best musi-
cians around in a dizzying array of styles. After many years of performance and study as a jazz
guitarist, he purchased his first sampler in 1998 and has been passionate about discovering and
