Abstract.4Faginuera quercivora, n. sp., from Japan is described and illustrated. Fe-
males oviposited in the leaves of Quercus serrata Thunberg and Q. mongolica crispula
Blume. This is the second species of Fagineura, a genus known only in Japan. A key is
provided to the Japanese species.
