Abstract AnewmacrocephalicpterostichinccarabidisdescribedfromtheAbc-
loge,centralJapan、underthenameofPte・,ostlchusto、,oda1.Itismainlycharacterizedby
thelongitudinalridgeontheanalsterniteinthemaleandtumoredaedeagus.
Inrecentyears, thePte1-ostic/11ls fauna,especially theso-calledmacrocephalic
forms,ofJapan,hasbecomegraduallyclarifiedbyardent friendsofours.Theseresults
werealreadyreportedinseveralseparatepapers(e.g.,KASAHARA,1985;KASAHARA&
ITO, l987;MORITA& HIRAsAwA,1996;MORITA&KANIE,1997),whichincludedthe
discoveryofanew subgenus. Thepurposeofthepresentpaper istoaddonemore
specieswhichwasdiscoveredinShizuokaPrefecture,CentralJapan.

Locality. Abe-toge,about l,380malt.,Shizuoka-shi,ShizuokaPrefecture,Cen-
tralJapan.
Notes. Thisnewspecies isseparablefromtheothermembersoftheso-called
macrocephalic formsofpterostichinecarabidsbyhavingacombinationofthe follow-
ing characters: 1) anal sternite inmalewitha longitudinal ridge at themiddle, 2)
aedeaguswithatumorataboutbasal third,and3)tarsismoothondorsalside.
Onlythesinglemaleknown,whichwasdesignatedastheholotype,wasalready
dissectedwhenwereceivedit;itsinnersacwas,probablyirregularly,evertedfromthe
aedeagus,andtheapicallobeoftheaedeaguswascoveredwiththemembraneouspart
oftheinnersac. It is, therefore,noteasytoexaminetheshapeofapical lobeinboth
lateralanddorsalviews.

森m識fJ・黒佐義郎:静岡県産オオズナガゴミムシの1新種. - 静岡市の北に位置する安
信一峠から発見されたl新種, ヒメオオズナガゴミムシPte・loslichustovodaiを記1波した. この新種
は, 雄11?端節に縦隆' を備えること, 険茎下面が膨れること, 付節背面が平骨i であることで, ほ
かのいわゆるオオズナガゴミムシと容易に識別される.
