ABSTRACT. This paper lists species-group names of Récent and fossil Polyplacophora
(MoUusca) that were published after 1998 (for the Récent species) and 1987 (for the fossil
species). A total of 171 species were since then introduced, ofwhich 123 are attributed to valid
fossil taxa and 48 to valid Récent taxa. The authorship and complète références are provided for
each species-group name.
