known that numbers in these age groups traditionally
dwindle, but our success in retaining cadet members is
reflected in the largest group completing the SRC
program to date.

number that we hope to maintain in the coming years.
This is an encouraging sign that demonstrates the clubs
focus on retaining under 13 and 14 members is starting
to pay dividends. The retention within the U14’s ranks
through the transition to cadets is vital for the health of
our patrols, the exuberance and enthusiasm that our
new recruits embraced their patrolling duties with was

patrolling numbers will remain healthy for some time.

NSW Country Championships
The juniors entered its largest team of 100 competitors
and on the back of strong results in both water and
beach events was crowned Junior Country Club
Champions. This was the first time the club has
achieved this result in over 10 years, the last being
when the club hosted the event. The results are
testament to the hours spent training by our
competitor’s and the dedication of the club coaches.
