General Information
Name badge and meeting/event admission
All registered attendees and guests are required to wear their name badge to gain entry into
all meetings and events, including meals, breaks, registered guest activities, the ice breaker,
and the banquet.
Breaks and meals
Morning and afternoon breaks will be held in the atrium and sixth floor gathering space.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for attendees and registered guests as indicated in the
schedule of events. Attendees and their guests must be registered to attend the breakfasts,
breaks, and lunches.
Cell phones
Please silence or turn off all electronics during the meetings and events as a courtesy to
others. There will be a charging station located near the registration desk equipped with
chargers for use during the event.
Guest programs
Please gather at the Crystal Lake Room for guest tours. The Crystal Lake Room is located
on the fourth floor (across from the registration desk) and has been reserved throughout
the entire conference as a gathering place for all guests to network. The room will include
games, snacks, and beverages.
Dress code
The dress code for all meetings is business casual. The dress code for all guest programs is
casual. Wear your summer fair attire to the ice breaker and business professional attire to the
banquet.

Meeting staff
Meeting staff will be available to assist you with any questions you may have. The
registration/help desk is located on the fourth floor near the atrium and is available on
the days and times indicated in the schedule of events. Meeting staff will be wearing navy
blue shirts and will have a colored name tag for easy identification. Lost and found will be
located at the registration/help desk.
Continuing education hours
Continuing education hours for professional engineers and architects will be based on
attendance at the technical and general sessions. A total of 19 hours is available and listed
on the form on page 78 of this program guide. This form will serve as a record for all hours
completed at the annual meeting. AASHTO will not send certificates to attendees after the
conference.
Photographs
In addition to the group photo, photographs will be taken at various meetings. These photos
may be used on the AASHTO website or in future presentations. If you have concerns about
the photos, please let Arielle Ehrlich or Lisa Gaughan know prior to the meeting.

Wireless internet is available. The password is Bridge2016.
Meeting mobile app
Browse the meeting agenda on your phone or tablet via the event mobile app. To get the

to download the app. Along with navigating the event agenda, you can use the app to
