YEAR BY YEAR, WE’RE RAISING THE BAR.
Welcome to the 2005 Ambassador. This long-time favorite is reaching new heights in comfort
and luxury. In fact, this year we’ve raised the interior ceiling height to a lofty 81". We’ve also
added more features and upgrades than ever before, including the new Blackwood Manor decor
with fabrics by Liz Claiborne. And most importantly, the Ambassador now rides on the custom-
built Roadmaster RR8R chassis, giving you the best performance in the industry. Couple that with
a hefty Cummins®ISC 330 engine, and you’ll take to the road with a whole new attitude.

Inside the 2005 Ambassador, you’re surrounded by living quarters
where the accent’s on living. You’ll love the warm, residential feel, thanks
to the beautiful cabinetry with hardwood doors, crown molding and the
decorative hardwood slide-out fascia. You’ll enjoy mealtimes at the cozy
booth dinette with drawers — or the optional freestanding dinette and
chairs with full-length wall cabinet, shown here. A sleeper sofa adds
versatility to your floorplan, providing extra space for family or guests.
In the kitchen, you’ll find a remarkable combination of style and
efficiency with solid surface countertops, a plexus-stone sink and beveled
mirrors. You’ll appreciate the many built-in storage spaces, including a
pantry with adjustable shelves. And the high-quality appliances include a
large double-door refrigerator and a versatile convection microwave.
The bedroom is highlighted by the queen bed with hardwood
headboard and an optional pillow top mattress. You’ll also have plenty of
storage space, thanks to the dresser, closet, overhead cabinets and an
oversized rear wardrobe closet (not available on 34SBD, 36PRT, 37PBD
and 40PLQ). And for your convenience, the 20" flatscreen TV is now
wired to the VCR or DVD player options in the living area.

WHERE HIGH-TECH MEANS A HIGHER STANDARD OF LIVING.
The 2005 Ambassador features countless innovative details to make life on the road
easier and more enjoyable. As you look to the front of the coach, you can see the
entertainment headquarters, with a 24" flatscreen stereo TV and cabinets for the optional
VCR, DVD player or home theater system with surround sound speakers. You’ll love the
cozy cockpit seats, with six-way power controls on the pilot’s side and optional six-way
controls and a powered footrest for the co-pilot, shown on the far right.
Highlights of the driver’s console include a rear vision system with audio and adjustable
camera, giving you eyes and ears for what’s behind the coach. You’ll also appreciate the
adjustable brake and accelerator pedals which make it easy to find the ideal driving position
for your height.
Another important feature is the systems control center, which puts many important
controls in one easy-to-reach location. And new side-hinged baggage doors with pass-
through storage compartments increase the cargo space and give you easier access to your
items stowed down below.
The newly designed front cap’s
contemporary look features stylish

lights. It also houses the generator
access with a one-piece door and a
pullout tray. The power heated mirrors
are also mounted in front, giving you
better visibility without having to turn
your head.

Superstructure. Our revolutionary system of interlocking aluminum H
and C-Channel crossmembers runs the entire length of the unit, with
double-welded intersections for added strength. This rigid design is both
lighter and sturdier than wood or tubular aluminum frames — and much
more reliable than butt-welded or screwed joint designs. From dirt roads to
potholes, you can count on Alumaframe®to handle the relentless stresses of

CUMMINS® ISC 330 ENGINE:
The Ambassador features a gutsy standard Cummins®
ISC 330diesel engine with Allison® 3000 MH 6-Speed
World Transmission and electronic shifter.
The Roadmaster Raised Rail RR8R Series chassis was
designed specifically for Holiday Rambler’s luxury coaches
like the Ambassador, and it leads its class in sophisticated
features that combine to provide a smooth ride and superior
front-to-rear balance.
•Eight air bags work in conjunction with eight gas-powered
shock absorbers to prevent road trauma from ever reaching
the coach.
•Monitored leveling sensors continually adjust the air pressure
at each axle to maintain a level ride and eliminate
nosediving, weight transfer and floating on curved roads.

This system also stabilizes the coach on uneven surfaces.
•A10,000 lb. tow hitch rating is the highest in its class.
•The exclusive raised rail design provides for larger full
pass-through storage bays with flush floors.
