Introduction of the main characters ARJUN and ARCHANA
interacting with the animated titles.

2 EXT. CHENNAI ROADS - MORNING
We see Arjun... the tall, handsome and slightly rebellious
looking young man riding his bike through the early morning
traffic of Chennai roads. Dashing and confident, he TEARS
through the roads, past red lights and cursing traffic cops,
while checking himself out in the rear view mirror, only to be
distracted by young college girls passing by.
CUT TO:
3 EXT/INT. PAPER BOAT OFFICE - SEVERAL MINUTES LATER
Arjun parks his bike at the parking lot and rushes into his
office. As he sprints through the corridor he accidentally
dashes against a female staff. Papers flying across mid-
air!.. we see the annoyed lady sitting awkwardly flat on the
floor with crooked glasses. Arjun sheepishly smiles and
apologizes.
ARJUN
Sorry sorry sorry.
Dinesh and Michael (his office buddies) peep out of their
cubicles and laugh at this scene.
DINESH

Arjun picks up the scattered files from the floor and gives
his hand to help the lady up. Dinesh teases.

The lady frowns at Arjun and slaps his hand away. Arjun makes
funny face. Now Michael teases.
MICHAEL

The lady grabs the files from Arjun and walks away. Arjun
instantly forgets the incident and walks towards the guys.
ARJUN
Excuse me...

He completely ignores the guys and goes towards the young
female co-workers sitting beside their desks.
ARJUN (CONT'D)
Hey Shilpa... Hi Keerthi.... Hi Shammu...
The girls wish him back. Dinesh and Michael exchange looks.
MICHAEL

Their boss Srinivasan, a humble-looking sixty year old man
walks towards Dinesh. There's something very friendly, warm
and likeable about him.

He goes to his room. Michael and Dinesh get back to their
seats. Arjun walks towards his cubicle... we see someone
sitting in the adjacent one... a girl... about 22, slim, curly
hair, medium fair and a little... NO... a lot disciplined.
It is Archana. She seems to be typing something on her
computer very seriously and very sincerely. Arjun pulls a
chair beside her and sits casually with his legs crossed on
the desk.

He puts his feet down. She takes a duster from a drawer and
dusts his desk.

She sends some files to print, gets up and goes towards the
big printers in a corner. He looks at her computer monitor and
notices a folder named 'Personal'.

He slides to her cubicle and opens the folder. He becomes more
curious when he sees many photographs of handsome men. He
peeps out to see if Archana is watching but she is too busy
taking prints. He signals Michael, Dinesh and other guys. They
also slide towards her cubicle and start whispering....

All staff members pop their heads from everywhere (all at the
same exact time) and ask "appadiya? appadiya?". She gets
embarrassed and uneasy. One guy rushes from a distance, comes

payasam on the hot stove. He sits casually on the counter.

Archana is pacing to and fro in the corridor. She keeps trying
Arjun's number but is unable to reach him. Srinivasan comes out
of the conference room.

She takes a white sheet from a file and hands it over to him.

to try his number again, Arjun dashes in, tucking his crumpled
unironed shirt into his trousers.

Arjun enters. Srinivasan is sitting amidst five or six
businessmen and talking about the previous works of Paper Boat
agency. Kumar, the client representative is sitting with a
stern face... meaning that he is not happy with the 'delay'.
Arjun walks towards Michael, who is setting up the projector.

Arjun takes an unnamed DVD from a scattered cluster of DVDs and
files in his bag and inserts it into the player. Srinivasan
sits next to Kumar.
ARJUN
Hello gentlemen. You will now be watching a demo of our
plans for the 7 ad films for your 7 product lines....
Suddenly the loud music of a 'kuthu' party song is heard and an
old home video footage starts playing on the screen, showing
Arjun and Michael "partying" with their other male friends at
Dinesh's house. The video is extremely idiotic and
embarrassing, as the guys get drunk, dance and give funny poses
to the camera.
Arjun and Michael jump in shock and desperately try to stop the
