thisspecimentothesamespecies・ThisreportcontainsmorphologlCalandotherdataonthisspecimen・

thisplantandgaveitadetaileddescrlPtlOnunderthe itisrelativelysmallinsizeasawhole・Forexample,
Same name.Later,having studied this species, itspedicelsareOnly3to4mmlong,equalingthe
Maximowicz(1871)established the new genus Shortestlengtheverrecordedinthisspecies(Noltie

ジャノヒゲ属((わゐ∫呼曙0乃)の研究のためにパ の多くの個体についてさらに詳しく研究する必要
リの自然誌博物館から標本を借用していたが,そ もあるが,現時点においては,この標本は,r
pα招血∫であると同定する.
。の中の一点に,採集者によって(わ鋸呼曙0乃と同
定されているが同属とは明らかに異なるものがあっ rpαJ〃血∫はこれまでヒマラヤとそれに続く山
た.この標本は,多くの性質において乃eJ叩曙0乃 地,ないしはその近傍の山地に分布することが知
られていたが,この標本の採集地はタイの北部で
pαJJ励ぶ(ユリ科)と一致する.しかし,全体的
に小形であり,花梗は長さ3-4mmで,花柱も あり,これまで知られているもっともそこに近い
長さ2.ト2.6mmしかない.また,採集者の記録に 生育地(中国雲両省北西部)からもかなり離れて
よれば,花は白色であり,花被片の端部は黄色で, いる.タイにおける本種の分布はこれまで知られ
花被片の中央には淡黄色の筋があるという.これ ていないと思われるので,ここに報告することに
まで知られているrクα肪血ぶの花色は,白色か, した.この地が同種の分布域の南限となる.
ピンクないし紫色を帯びる.このような点におい 乃eJ叩卿乃属はrpαJJ誠一∫一種からなる単型属で
てこの標本の個体は,これまで知られているr ある.その分類学的位置づけについては,今後の
研究に委ねられるところが多い.この極めて興味
pαJJ肋ぶとは僅かながら分化しているのかもしれ
ない.しかし,仮にこれらの性質が原産地におい 深い種の,しかもその分布域の最東南部の隔離的
て安定しているものだとしても,その差異は種を 分布地であるこのタイの生育地が,いっまでも無
分かっはど大きいものではないと判断する.生育 事であることを望みたい.
地や海抜も既知のものとあまり変わりはない(た (帝京大学文学部教育学科)
だし,この標本の産地は石灰岩地である).現地
