Eduardo Rodriguez, PhD, is principal of IQAnalytics
Inc. Canada, an analytics adjunct professor at Telfer
School of Management at Ottawa University, graduate
corporate faculty in analytics at Harrisburg University
of Science and Technology US, creator of the analytics
program at the University of Fredericton, Canada, senior
associate faculty of the Centre for Dynamic Leadership
Models in Global Business at The Leadership Alliance
Inc., and principal–owner at IQAnalytics Inc. Research
Centre and Consulting Firm in Ottawa, Canada.
Eduardo has extensive experience in analytics, knowl-
edge, and risk management mainly in the insurance and banking industries. He
has been knowledge management advisor at EDC Export Development Canada
in Ottawa and regional director of the Professional Risk Managers International
Association (PRMIA) in Ottawa. In Colombia, he has been Executive VP Health
Care Colmena, Planning VP Insurance Colmena, corporate marketing director
Fundacion Social Holding, and member of the Board of Directors of local orga-
nizations. He has been a professor at Andes University and CESA in Colombia,
quantitative analyst for EDC, the author of four books in analytics, reviewer of
four academic journals, and author of several publications in peer-reviewed jour-
nals and conferences. Currently, he is the chair of the permanent Think Tank in
Analytics in Ottawa, chair of the International Conference in Analytics ICAS,
member of academic committees for conferences in knowledge management, and
international lecturer in the analytics field. Eduardo earned a bachelor’s degree
in mathematics, and an MBA from Los Andes University, Colombia; an MSc
in mathematics from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada; Certification of
the Advanced Management Program, McGill University; and a PhD from Aston
Business School, Aston University in the UK. His main research interests are in
the fields of knowledge management applied to enterprise risk management, risk
analytics, and strategic risk.
