Under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu
ACQUISITION OF LANDS
Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997
[G.O. Ms. No. 1, Transport (I.1), 3rd January 2018, (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Government of Tamil Nadu
ñ£˜èN 19, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] hereby acquires the lands in 13.P.N.Patti Village, Mettur Taluk
of Salem District as specifi ed in the Schedule below and
No. II(2)/TRA/38(b)/2018. measuring 1.73.5 hectares (or) 17350 Sq.M to the same,
a little more or less needed for industrial purposes, to wit,
The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that
for formation of Double way Broad – Guage Railway line by
the lands specifi ed in the schedule below have to be acquired
changing the existing single way Broad-Guage Railway line
for industrial purposes to wit to the formation of Double way
from Omalur – Mettur Dam.
Broad – Guage Railway line by changing the existing single
way Broad-Guage Railway line from Omalur – Mettur Dam The plan of the lands are kept in the offi ce of the Land
and it having already been decided that the entire amount of Acquisition Offi cer and District Revenue Offi cer, Salem and
compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid out the Special Tahsildar, Omalur – Mettur Dam Double Line
of the lands controlled or managed by Southern Railway. The Broad-Guage Railway Track, Room No.414, 4th Floor,
following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 Collectorate Campus, Salem and may be inspected at any
of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposed time during offi ce hours.
Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999).
