Our conversation is essentially a speech act that takes place in a particular situation or a setting. Every day, we confront multiple situations that call for interactive conversation or even discussion. Most conversations tend to be in ones mother tongue but sometimes there are situations where one is also required to speak in English. Therefore, the course is a step towards preparing the learner for such situations when he or she will be required to use English. These situations may be either face-to-face or telephonic mode.
