by Saunders (1868) who was followed byall subsequent

none of the species in this species group has a head
withayellow base. Inthe figurethepre-medial fascia
is complete. A similar pattern is present in only two
of the fourteen specimens examined. All other
specimenshave the pre-medial fasciaincomplete; thus
two spots oneachside ofthe suture coalesce to form

relatively unsculptured proctiger in both male and
