This year’s show will be held at The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham (The Irish Museum of
Modern Art), and will be attended by Christopher Webb, and a member of Phillip’s Stamp
Department. Christopher Webb plans to see other clients in Ireland.
LONDON COIN FAIR. Saturday 6th June.
We now have a regular display table at the London Coin Fairs, held at the Cumberland
Hotel, and are able to accept consignments for future sales at this, or indeed any other show
we attend.

The Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.), Civil Royal Hanoverian Order: Knight’s badge and Commander’s
Division, a fine quality Knight Commander’s set of insignia, breast star bestowed upon General Sir Stephen R. Chapman,
by Garrard, bestowed upon the Victorian diplomat Sir comprising: gold badge, with swords, silver breast star, with
Charles Murray: the neck badge in gold, hallmarked gold and enamel centre. The enamels damaged on both, the
1860—61, with original riband and clasp fittings, and the star having all the ground line missing, otherwise extremely

With a party of 35, all ranks, he carried out most ably a reconnais-

loss enemy bodies of many times his own strength, and penetrated 40
miles behind the enemy’s front line.
By his bold and rapid leadership he outwitted the enemy, who with
drew for 50 miles a force estimated at 1,000 strong. He displayed great
courage throughout, and the moral effect of his action was most
marked, and he brought back valuable information.
