NP/PA 24-Hour Waiver Training Visual Guide – For NPs ONLY

Log in to the AANP CE Center. (This example creates an account. If you already have an account, log in
instead.) Click “Sign in” in the top right corner.
If you are a new user, click “Start Here.” Otherwise, sign in as usual.
It brings you to a login page. Click “Create Login for MyAANP” to create a new account. Otherwise, sign
in here.
Enter your email twice and click “Next.”
Enter your information and submit. All fields are required, even though some don’t have
asterisks.

Submit.
You should now be logged in AANP. To go to the CE Center, click “CE Center” under “QuickLinks”
on the left.
Once inside the CE Center, choose “Buprenorphine Waiver Course” in the Categories list.
Choose the course. ***IF THE CALLER HAS ALREADY TAKEN THE 8 HOUR COURSE, THEY SHOULD
CHOOSE PART II ONLY. IF THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN THE 8 HOUR COURSE, THEY SHOULD CHOOSE
“NP/PA 24-HOUR WAIVER TRAINING”*** This example uses the 24-hour product.
Choose the product you need, then click the green “Register Now” button on the right.
Click “Yes” in the pop-up window to take the course.
