The generic name Okamurina Zinova 1972 is concluded as an illegal name，b ecause of mis

application of the type species. Av alidly published name，Y amαdaphycus Mikami 1973 must be used
for this taxon. Currently used name Gelidium amansii from Japanese coast was proved to be mis-
identification，a nd G. elegans Kuetzing is available for Japanese plant. The names Gelidium
subfastigiatum Okamura and G. vagum Okamura were validly published in ap aper of Inagaki 1933
before the publication of Okamura 1934. Nemastomafoliacea Levring is proved to be al ater homonym
of N. foliacea Yamada，a nd an ew name N. levringii Yoshida is proposed. Discussion was made to
transfer Neomonospora sericata Segawa to Monosporus. Fucus semαtifolius Thunberg was proved to
be published later than F. semαtifolius C. Agardh.

13.コノハノリモドキ Yαmadaphycuscαrnosus gαtocαrpusのタイプ種 pαcificus (Yamada)
Mikami Mikami 1971のbasionymとして用いられていて，
Yαmαdαphycus Mikami 1973とOkαmurinα この時点で OkαmurmαZinovaはおなじタイプ
Zinova 1972との関係について，前報(吉田1980) 種を持つことになり superfluousであり，国際植
ではOkαmurmαに先取権があるとしてOkαmurinα 物命名規約 (Greuteret al. 1988)第63条 1項に
cαrnosαの組合せを提唱した.その後， Wynne よって非合法として棄却すべきであるということ
(1982)の指摘もあって，Okαmunnαの正当性に になる.その後， Zinova (1976)は属の定義を変

Zinova (1972)はOkαmurinα属を記載したと OkαmurinαrigidαZinovaの名前を与え，タイプ

genus must be regarded as superfluous under
the Art. 63.1 of ICBN，b ecause of the presence
of Congregαtocαrpus Mikami 1971，h aving the
same type species. Her later proposition to
change the name of the type species to O.
rigidα，a n ew name istead of O. pαcificα，c an-

not validate the generic name. Y;αmαdαphycus
αcrnosus Mikami is， therefore， a valid and
legitimate name.
14.マクサの学名について
日本産のテングサ類についての記録はKaempfer
(1712)にまで遡るであろうが，これは Linnaeus
以前のことであるから， Linnean systemの学名
が与えられたのはHarvey(1857)の報告が初め
