According to information obtained from legal depositions taken in June/July of 2013 from retired co-workers and friends, Henderson PD and LVMPD Intelligence Detectives arrived at the scene and specifically ordered everyone there to remain silent and to keep this incident under wraps. No official investigation of any sort was conducted, and no media publications were made by anyone. It is as if this grisly murder — to a fully commissioned law enforcement officer of the LVMPD — never happened. I would think the term “transparency” should never be honorably used by anyone in the LVMPD Police Administration, until this incident is fully rectified. This article is one of many articles regarding this gruesome crime that have only been published by the Las Vegas Tribune ever since it was revealed in June/July of 2013, during legal depositions. It should be noted that these depositions, which depict this crime and several other crimes whereby the LVMPD past and present police administration is directly complicit, were also sent to FBI Special Agent Joseph Dickey in August of 2013. For the life of me, I don’t understand the delay in indictments that should have been forthcoming for the persons responsible for this gruesome murder of Officer Kevin Scott Dailey. What is rather coincidental is that since I first filed a 2011 Federal Lawsuit against the LVMPD, Sheriff Douglas Gillespie, et al., and fourteen other high-ranking police officials, five Assistant Sheriffs have suddenly retired for unknown reasons (i.e. former Assistant Sheriff Ray Flynn, former Assistant Sheriff Michael McClary, former Assistant Sheriff Anthony Lozich, former As- sistant Sheriff Greg McCurdy, former Assistant Sheriff Ted Moody; also Captain Larry Burns), not to mention other “coincidences” in this same time frame: District Attorney David Rogers stepping down three years before his term and firing DDA Roy Nelson, related to an evidence mis- handling robbery and sexual assault case, and Sheriff Gillespie suddenly changing his mind about running for a third term just as the legal depositions were being revealed and given to the FBI at their request. I guess coincidences do happen... But these? Not really.
