Cheryl Chew, the author of this book, was a longtime member of
Melodyland, a mega-church in Anaheim, California that I pastored for 38

it’s God’s choice. However complex, a life has a right to live. Planned or
unplanned, life is priceless. It cannot be terminated as a “biological blun-
der.” Even Mary, the mother of Jesus, had an unplanned birth, but God ful-
filled His plan. The young, unmarried maiden faced desperate decisions and
encountered chaotic circumstances. Just as Mary never crumbled under
social pressures, women of our millennium can find the same supernatural
strength to face challenging crises.
