There may be all kinds of wonderful info in the text, but if I can't get some of the distros that come on the accompanying CD and DVD to install and run, which was one reason for buying the book, I just can't get all excited about recommending it to others. Sort of like buying computer hardware from eCost.com and then getting screwed out of the rebate by their convoluted rebate process.
