PREFACE
The objective of this book is to give a general view of the different areas of physical education, and its
applications. Physical education is usually imparted during primary and secondary schooling. It is an
educational practice aimed at enhancing psychomotor learning and health. Different approaches, evaluation,
methodologies and advanced studies on physical education have been included in this book. It explores all
the important aspects of physical education in the present day scenario. This book is a vital tool for all
researching or studying physical education as it gives incredible insights into emerging trends and concepts.
It is a complete source of knowledge on the present status of this important field.
Various studies have approached the subject by analyzing it with a single perspective, but the present
book provides diverse methodologies and techniques to address this field. This book contains theories and
applications needed for understanding the subject from different perspectives. The aim is to keep the readers
informed about the progress in the field; therefore, the contributions were carefully examined to compile novel
researches by specialists from across the globe.
