It is very heartening to note that the Indian School of Mines Alumni Association,
Ranchi Chapter is organizing the Annual get-together (MILAN-2015) on 8th
November, 2015 at CMPDI Campus in Ranchi.
I express my gratitude to all the fellow members of this Association and their
family members who honoured us by being a part of this celebration. The role that
ISM has played in the development of mineral resources deserves golden words in
the Indian success story. Particularly in the coal sector, alumnus of ISM with their
skills and values, not only ensured nation’s energy security, but made CIL the ace of
the Indian industry.
We have not only been blessed by ISM with our knowledge and skills alone,

Message
It is indeed a matter of great pleasure to share that ISM Alumni Association,
Ranchi Chapter is organizing its annual get together ‘MILAN – 2015’
on 8th November,2015 at CMPDI campus.
Though the time has considerably travelled past a distance since I passed out from
my revered alma-mater ISM, the precious days spent there are still afresh in my
memories and so is the case with all of you. This itself tells loudly about the
heavenly aura and divine blessings our institution has been showering on us till
today. Mining industry has been challenging since its inception and it has always
required a great deal of exemplary courage, unwavering dedication and unflinching
determination to achieve the desired output of minerals to cater to the ever
increasing needs of our growing economy. I am sure that this fun filled yet nostalgic
get-together of ISM alumnus along with their families will definitely blow away
their fatigue and will reinvigorate them to take up the new challenges ahead for a
cleaner and stronger India.
I express my deep sense of gratitude to the organizing team of
‘MILAN – 2015’ for putting in their untiring efforts to make the occasion a grand
success.

It’s a matter of great pleasure to learn that ISM Alumni Association
Ranchi Chapter is organising Milan 2015 - an annual get together of ISM
Alumnus & their family members on 8th November 2015. Tracing our
roots down the memory lane to ISM has always been inspirational and
morale booster. This get together will definitely refresh our fond
memories of ISM and will recharge us with even greater energy

& commitment to contribute to the ever challenging goals of resurging
India.
The launching of “ismaaranchi.com” a website with updated database
dedicated to ISM alumni on the occasion deserves accolades and will
surely act as potent means to enhance the interaction and strengthen the
bonds of ISM alumnus.
I wish MILAN 2015 a global success.
