Preface/foreword
The proceedings of the International Conference on Automatic Control, Mechatronics and
Industrial Engineering (ACMIE 2018) is a compilation of the papers presented at the confer-
ence held in Suzhou, China, 29–31 October, 2018. ACMIE 2018 consists of keynote speeches,
invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations. It attracted many scientists
from all around the world to attend, providing ideal forums for them to exchange the most
up-to-date and authoritative knowledge from both industrial and academic worlds. The pro-
ceedings collects not only the presentations given by the renowned world-class scientists, but
also novel results in the field of Mechatronics, Automation and Industrial Engineering from
different regions of the World.
We would like to thank all participants, especially the invited speakers, for their efforts and
contributions to the success of the conference. We also thank the reviewers for their valuable
comments on the conference proceedings.
