Intended Audience This document is intended for those responsible for the installation, acceptance, operations and maintenance of Release 7.2.11. Section 2 - Problems Fixed This section provides descriptions of the problems that have been fixed in Alcatel-Lucent 1643 AMS Release 7.2.11 or before. Section 4 - New Installation This section provides a reference to the procedure to install the Alcatel- Lucent 1643 AMS Network Element (NE) software onto a new Alcatel-Lucent 1643 AMS system and a reference to the procedure to install the ITM-CIT (Craft Interface Terminal) software onto a Windows-based PC. Additionally it contains information that will contribute to a proper installation of the Alcatel-Lucent 1643 AMS. Section 5- Upgrade Procedures This section provides the procedure for a maintenance upgrade of the Alcatel-Lucent 1643 AMS Network Element (NE) software to Alcatel- Lucent 1643 AMS Release 7.2.11 if applicable. The maintenance upgrade can be performed with the ITM-CIT (Craft Interface Terminal) or with the Lucent® OMS, and both procedures are given.
