Dear partners and underwater photographers,
HP Red Sea and World ShootOut 2012 events were and experiential and
challenging, providing us all with many memorable moments, new friends,
creative ideas and fresh energies. While World ShootOut hosted hundreds of
brilliant underwater photographers and some of the worlds most attractive
diving destinations, HP Red Sea provided us with an exceptionally adventurous
week in Eilat, full of surprises and exciting moments.
I am thankful for the support of our partners, the devotion of the production
team and more than all – the presence of all you photographers – the beating
heart of these events.
We were happy to welcome HP as a main partner this year. As HP Red Sea
and World ShootOut are much about color, imaging, high technology, green
activity, excellence and professionalism, I’m positive that this cooperation will
open the door to many new, innovative and creative opportunities. Up until
now, we have established a unique and outstanding platform, which I have
every reason to believe that will continue developing.

This was also the first year of our new “National Team” category, allowing
photographers from each country to team-up and put together a stunning,
award-winning portfolio of images. This year, the excellent Spanish team won
the majority of both public and judges votes, and therefore took the well-
deserved crown back home. I have great faith in the “National Team” category
and we’re all looking forward to hosting a large number of national teams in
this festive Olympic category!

The way I see it, this album is a breathtaking underwater journey, which
introduces the work of some amazing talents we had the honor to host this
year, as well as the outstanding colors of the world’s leading diving destinations,
including the Eilat Red Sea. Underwater photography is a challenge by all
HP Red Sea 2013
means, but at the same time, one that is well met during these competitions.
