Wilde has some things to worry
about. Days after the 38-year-old
gave a wide-ranging interview in
Variety, during which she opened up about
her bitter split from Jason Sudeikis and
dished about axing Shia LaBeouf from the
1950s dystopian flick, Shia fired back. And
the receipts were damning. “His process was
not conducive to the ethos I demand in my
productions,” she told the mag, citing the
36-year-old’s “combative energy.”
That’s not what happened, the Honey
Boy actor, whose rep in Hollywood has
taken a beating due to his bad-boy behavior,
wrote in an email. “Firing me never took
place, Olivia,” he said, sharing screen shots
purportedly of a text exchange with the
director in which she tried to get him to stay
on. “I fully understand the attractiveness of
pushing that story because of the current
social landscape,” he allowed, alluding to
his blackballed status in the industry. But, he
insisted, her version “is not the truth.” Even
more damning: leaked footage of a phone
call that not only showed a “heartbroken”
Olivia asking Shia to reconsider leaving the
film, but also revealed her trash-talking
