Sto al finestrino. Fermo
Non ho orgoglio. Non ho ambizioni. Vivo
Infelice e felice la mia storia.
Trascorre un tempo che non dà memoria.
Mi chiudo in me. E se ne ho voglia scrivo.
Ho preso un treno che non fa fermate:
Ma se anche ne facesse, scenderei?
Sto al finestrino, fermo sul replay.
E a volte faccio inutili zoomate.

I'm at the window. Still.
I have no pride. I have no ambition. I live
Unhappy and happy my story.
A time without memory passes.
I lock myself in me. And if I feel like it I write.
I took a train without stops:
But even if it did, would I get off?
I'm at the window, standing still on the replay.
And sometimes I make unnecessary zooms.

Non ho veduto nemmeno una pianta,
Ma diecimila distese di landa,
E non eroi, non amici, non Buddha

Muoiono tutti, prima o poi. Moriamo
Le tortorelle fendono il grigiore
Del primo pomeriggio a fine inverno …
Ho una fitta all’altezza dello sterno
- Un tempo l’avrei detta mal d’amore,
Oggi non più. Oggi domina l’orrore
Di un mondo che ha perduto il padreterno
Per falsi dei, che cieco e subalterno
Mostra soltanto muscoli e non cuore.
Muoiono tutti, prima o poi. Moriamo
Tutti, lasciando a stento la memoria
Del passero posato sopra un ramo
Che si guarda dal nibbio e dalla storia,
Guizzando via d’argento incontro all’amo
Che ci trarrà di torno senza gloria

All die, sooner or later. We die
The doves soar through the greyness
of an early afternoon in late winter ...
I feel a stab at sternum level
- Once I would have called it lovesickness,
But not any more. Now the horror
Of a world that has lost God Almighty
For false gods dominates, that blind and subordinate
Show only muscles and heart.
They all die, sooner or later. We die
All, leaving barely the memory
of a Sparrow resting on a branch
that protects itself from kites and history,
silver darting away towards the hook
We will draw out of the way without glory

Capelli neri e un odore di spezia.
