in the Media and Sound ministry is simply to
facilitate a place of meeting for the Lord to
meet with His people at Ridgeview in every
service.
OUR PROCESS for Serving is done in 3 stages
CORE

> Listen to CORE teaching MP3s and write 1 page
CHARACTER
> Schedule meeting with Worship Pastor
> Attend 4 Team Rehearsals

:: OUR PURPOSE :: Media & Sound Ministry

OUR PURPOSE for Serving is simply to facilitate a place of meeting
for God to come and meet with His people at Ridgeview every
service. We are like waiters serving God (the Groom) to meet with
His Church (The Bride). Our desire is to prepare the congregation to
meet with the Lord and remain transparent in that ministry. We do
this by

1. Inviting Jesus (to be seated on our praises)
2. Ministering The Cross
3. Eliminating Distractions (our Core our Character and our Craft)
4. Blessing Godʼs People (see Numbers 6:24)

Sound & Media Ministry STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES
1. One must be a Christian witness having the character of Christ; diligent and disciplined
in the study of the word and the studying/training for sound/AV: dependable and must
show respect for leadership and authority: one must surround themselves with Christian
fellowship, and must have Christ-like social behavior and a cooperative spirit.

2. Along with being a born again believer; one must be a worshiper. Romans 12:1

3. Must have a personal devotional life of prayer, praise, worship, and the studying of
the word.

4. Must have consistently attended Ridgeview Church for three months prior to having
joined the worship ministry.

5. Please be on time for all services, rehearsals, and special events. When you are late it
causes everyone to have to stay later.

6. Should you run into difficulty in trying to get to rehearsal or to service on time
(Job,traffic, etc) please contact Jeremy.

7. Attend weekly rehearsal for the week you are serving.
Thursdays 7pm-9pm. Prepare as a team for Sunday.

8. Please be courteous enough to call if you are going to be absent or late for a service or
practice. By doing so, fill-in arrangements can be made.

9. After rehearsal & service please turn off equipment that you are operating
(Computers, Sound board, Amps, Projector).

10. During worship. Please watch the worship leader at all times. Flow is a must.

11. ATTIRE AND APPEARANCE: Ladies: Our appearance must be modest. No skirts
above the knee, sleeveless dresses, clingy or tight fitting clothes are to be worn on the
platform during service. Dress pants, dress jeans and suits are acceptable. If you are in
doubt... Donʼt wear it!

Men: It is imperative that our appearance is modest. Please no tank tops, ball caps,
torn jeans, sandals or sports attire. Slacks, dress shirts, sports coats, polos and dress
jeans are acceptable.

REMEMBER WE WANT EVERYTHING TO POINT TO JESUS

12. It is imperative to have corporate prayer on Sunday morning. Please save socializing
for after the service and meet with the worship team 10 minutes before each service
on the platform for prayer.

1. Core, Character and Craft Evaluations are not a direct indication of oneʼs calling in the
Kingdom of God or to ministry in the Kingdom of God. Evaluations are designed to help
identify my specific strengths & areaʼs of improvement in the worship ministry of Ridgeview
Church.

2. Evaluation results may be discussed with the Senior Pastor, Elders and administrative staff
of Ridgeview Church.
