they are

This 5 year-old boy crawled under this root system to get warm and
avoid the mosquitoes. He got stuck and when he was found 14 hours
after he was last seen, the handlers had to dig him out. The arrow
points to his back, his head is to the right and he facing down into the
mud. The handler on the far left is trying to dig out around his feet
