Projections illustrate plausible courses of future
population based on assumptions about future
births, deaths, international migration, and domestic
migration. Projected numbers are consistent with

the most recent decennial census and projected
forward.
Births

The Texas State Data Center reports that for Bexar
County between 2001 and 2008 the population Net Migration
grew by 229,968 individuals, 68% was from births. 68%
Making births a critical indicator for Bexar County.

SAT - Mean Total Score (Class of 2009): The sum of the mathematics

examinees. Total scores for the SAT range from 400 to 1600 for Southwest ISD
mathematics and critical reading combined. Despite the addition of the South San Antonio ISD
writing portion of the SAT, the criterion score continues to be based on Harlandale ISD
mathematics and critical reading only. These results include only the Edgewood ISD
most recent scores received by the Class of 2009 on an SAT test taken San Antonio ISD
