El marketing digital aplicado a las
organizaciones culturales

RESUMEN
La aplicación del marketing a la comercialización de productos culturales ha
generado controversia entre los expertos, atendiendo a la importancia que representan
estos activos y que se refleja en la creación de órganos dedicados a su protección, como
la UNESCO. Con el surgimiento de espacios virtuales que han modificado las pautas de
consumo y producción de las artes, se hace necesario investigar cómo las nuevas técnicas
de marketing digital se adaptan a las particularidades del sector y la capacidad que tienen
las organizaciones de aplicar estas herramientas, en concreto la compañía circense Cirque
du Soleil.

ABSTRACT
The use of marketing to the promotion of cultural products has generated
controversy among experts, given the importance of these assets, which is reflected in the
creation of bodies dedicated to their protection, such as UNESCO. With the emergence
of virtual spaces that have modified the patterns of art consumption and production, it is
necessary to investigate how the new digital marketing techniques adapt to the market’s
particularities and the capacity that the organizations have to apply these tools,
specifically the circus company known as Cirque du Soleil.
