second largest economy and the world’s third largest,
while India (USD 2.1 trillion) is number 3 in the region and

The UNWTO ranking of international tourist arrivals
features only one Asian destination in the top ten: China
(4th) with 57 million international tourist arrivals in 2015,
although Thailand, Hong Kong (China) and Malaysia
rank 11th, 13th and 14th respectively with 30, 27 and
26 million arrivals.
