along 　ve ｛ns　4　and 　5　in　the　hindwing 　brown　black（511nrn　forewing　length），　 The　forewing
red 　band　descends　to　the　inner　margin ．　 A 　zoomed −in　picture （Fig．4）shows 　the　right
hindwing　with 　many 　red 　scales　in　discs　lb　to　7　as　well 　as　in　cell ．　 Fig，6shows 　the
specimen 　in　ventral 　view 　with 　its　exemplary 　coloration ．　 This　female　was 　captured 　by
the　junio　aruthor 　at　Nueva　Victoria　ol10ctober 　27，1995，　 These 　twQ 　butterfii　esusggest

採集される こ とは極めて稀で あり，特産亜種で ある Agrias　sardanaPatas Zergen　sStaudingerの雌変
異体は報告が ない ．我々 はサ テ ィポ県で の雌採集を 目的に，1995 年夏か らバ ナナ トラップの使用を
開始し，1996 年6 月まで に，後翅に赤色翅脈を伴う2頭の雌 A ．s，　lttgensを採集 した．写真 1 2，　5
，
は 1995 年 10 月 13 日に採集された雌で，前翅長 52mm ，後翅第 4翅脈が赤色翅脈 にな っ てい るの
が認 められる．さらに 拡大して み ると，第 4翅脈以外に も，中室に 2個，第 5翅脈上 に 6個，第 3

室 に 2個，第 4室に 3個，第 5室に 2個，第 6室に 3個，第 7室に 3個の赤色鱗粉が認め られ る．
写真 3，4，6 は 1995年 10月27 日に採集された雌で 前翅長 51mm ，後翅第 4，5翅脈が赤色翅脈に
，
なっ てい る．拡大像で は多 くの赤色鱗粉が中室 と第 1b室か ら 7室 まで広 く認め られ る．これ ら 2
頭の雌は ともにサ テ ィポ西 8km の ヌエ バ ビ ク トリア で採集され た．原名亜種の後翅 に は黒褐色以
外の色の記載がな く，この 2頭は新しい 変異体 と考えられる，
