In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent and Merciful
As-salam alaykum
Praise to Allah whose worth cannot be described by speakers, whose bounties cannot be
counted by calculators and whose claim (to obedience) cannot be satisfied by those who
attempt to do so, Whom the height of intellectual courage cannot appreciate. Praise to
Prophet (sawaw) and his progeny (as) who are the perfect model of all mankind for every
phase of life.
MashaAllah third edition of Islamic Jantri of 2014 is in your hand. I tried my best to compile
the most relevant information to make this Jantri more useful. There are a lot of books
online and in the libraries but through the Islamic Jantri we endeavor to publish easy and
useful practices of Islam , ziaaraats, duas, aamals, dreams interpretation from the
knowledge given to us by Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (A.S.) and Qur'anic quotations in the form of
duas. Islamic calendar is a great source of important dates to keep the readers up-to-date.
Migration from our country of birth to a new country in not meaningless. We all work hard
to keep our children on the right path of Islamic principles. Islamic English Jantri is an
addition and support for this mission. The idea behind compiling the Islamic Jantri, is to
present the Islamic practice in an easy format but in accordance to the teachings of Holy
Qur'an and Ahlaybait (A.S). This picture of the practical aspects of Islamic life-style serves as
a timely reminder for all of us. At this time when immoral and unethical influences are
spreading, we need to hold strong to the distinct character of our faith, as prescribed by
Quran and Ahlaybait. A.S

La Ilaha Illallah NO GOD BUT ALLAH
Khudi Ka Sirr-e-Nihan La Ilaha Illallah
Khudi Hai Taeg, Fasan La Ilaha Illallah
The secret of the self is hid, In words "No god but He alone."
The self is just a dull-edged sword, "No god but He," the grinding stone.
Ye Dour Apne Baraheem Ki Talash Mein Hai
Sanam Kudah Hai Jahan, La Ilaha Illallah
An Abraham by the age is sought to break the idols of this Hall:
The avowal of God's Oneness can make all these idols headlong fall.
Kiya Hai Tu Ne Mataa-e-Ghuroor Ka Soda
Faraib Sood-o-Zayan, La Ilaha Illallah
A bargain you have struck for goods of life, a step, that smacks conceit,
All save the call "No god but He," is merely fraught with fraud and deceit.
Ye Maal-o-Doulat-e-Dunya, Ye Rishta-o-Pewand
Butan-e-Weham-o-Guman, La Ilaha Illallah
The worldly wealth and riches too, ties of blood and friends a dream
The idols wrought by doubts untrue, all save God's Oneness empty seem.
Khird Huwi Hai Zaman-o-Makan Ki Zunnari
Na Hai Zaman Na Makan, La Ilaha Illallah
The mind has worn the holy thread of Time and Space like pagans all
Though Time and Space both illusive "No god but He" is true withal.
Ye Naghma Fasl-e-Gul-o-Lala Ka Nahin Paband
Bahar Ho Ke Khazan, La Ilaha Illallah
These melodious songs are not confined to time when rose and tulip bloom
Whatever the season of year be "No god but He" must ring till doom.
Agarche But Hain Jamat Ki Astinon Mein
Mujhe Hai Hukm-e-Azan, La Ilaha Illallah
Many idols are still concealed in their sleeves by the Faithful Fold,
I am ordained by Almighty Allah to raise the call and be much bold.

Sajjad, Sajjad, where's your sister? She desperately grabbed the horse's legs
Get up, get up; look for her Pleaded and begged as the animal
Night has ended this long day neighed
I don't know where she has strayed Please don't take my father away

Aun and Muhammad were sacrificed
Didn't shed a tear as they gave their lives Her her crying for her Abbas
Now my tears are streaming As his limp body slides from his horse
Where are you? Sakina's missing His holy banner slipped from his side
Abbas has fallen; Abbas has died
How many times did she scream?
Ya Rabb, would it were a dream Ran her fingers through her father's
Shook and shivered from what she saw bread
How will she go on, if at all? As he wiped away her little tears
Kissed and cuddled her as best he could
Sajjad, maybe she'll shear you call Sakina's gone now for good
Hurry hurry now, don't you stall
Shimr mal'oun lurks nearby Why have all her brothers gone to sleep?
You must find her; you must try Sakina falls; hear her weep
Akbar, Qassim, Abbas -- where are you?
She lost her loved ones one by one Tell me, tell me what to do
Saw them all leave her after dawn
She rubed her eyes in disbelief Don't look as Shimr cuts off his head
Too little to bear so much grief The desert sands now run red
They loot his body all at once
She hugged herself and rocket to sleep O, Sakina, your father's gone
Dreaming of her baba's sweet
Embrace. Those same arms shackled like Sajjad Zaynab fear not, can't you hear
a slave I am here, and father's near
Her dear father now lay slain "Come to me" did my father call
Can't you hear him too? Where are you
Earrings a gift from her father all?
Torn from her ears, stolen by Shimr Can't you hear him too? Where are you
Her hurting ears shredded like her heart all?
O for those earrings Sakina mourned

THE PURIFIED ONES.

Verily I t is Qur'an honourable, In a Book hidden, Toucheth It not save the purified ones. Sent down by

The Lord of the Worlds. ( Quran: 56:77 - 80). But, God expressively Has confined His Order to certain

Group of Individuals by excluding the rest of the mankind from it in His Divine Will by declaring the 'Ahlul
Bayt' as the persons purified by Him to be constantly in touch with the Qur'an in its original, hidden, well

protected, exalted and purified form. It was Allah's Wish to remove all Blemish from them: Verily, verily

God intendeth to keep off from you (every kind of filth), "O' ye T he People of The House (Ahlul Bait),

and purify you with a thorough purification. (Qur'an: 33:33).
