This document presents optimizations made to the D-GM environment to improve distributed quantum simulation on heterogeneous computing systems. The optimizations were implemented in three steps: 1) Theoretical studies and implementation of abstractions for Mixed Partial Processes to reduce memory consumption of multidimensional quantum transformations. 2) Distributed/parallel implementation of these abstractions to allow execution on GPU clusters. 3) Optimizations to predict and avoid unnecessary zero-value multiplications in quantum states and transformations, reducing computations. Results showed scalable simulation of Hadamard gates on 21 qubits using multiple computing nodes.
