Inthe 1972-73schoolyear,thefirstyearstudentswere

Duetogrowingenrollmentattheelementaryandjunior

enrollmentincreasedto1,746.
Five years later, at the start ofthe 1991-92 year, the

Due to the increasingpopulation, manynew additions
havebeen added. Timberline Condominiums, Chandana
Point subdivision and Shopping Center have all been
developedonthenorthside.
Because ofexpansion onthe northside ofthe city, the
construction of a new elementary school began in the
springof1992.
Also the Inman’s Recreation Center, which opened in
September 1991, provided entertainmentforpeople ofall
ages. The area included 36 bowling lanes, 12 billiard
tables,anarcade,asnackbar,andalounge.
